We, as Christians have been lead into this false
sense of security and many into a false salvation by saying a simple prayer. Salvation is so much more than uttering a few
words after which we pronounce them saved, then they leave those doors and go on about their life, at first they show change
then when troubles, trials and persecution comes(Mathew 13:21) and hope seems grim they throw in the towel and walk away from
the church. This is way to common in todays society. Look at America, see where it is going, the church is out to make people
feel good about themselves, or set on telling you how to live your best life now, or you too can be rich like Jesus. That
is complete nonsense, this is why in America 80% of the people who live here profess to be Christian, but only a few show
forth good fruit(Matthew 7). Oh how troublesome this modern day gospel is, that so many would profess they believe, many would
argue "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised
him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."(Romans 10:9), yet they forget the importance of repentance or slide by it as
if man knows they are wicked, or to stop and glance upon it but not recognize it, then run blindly through life without truly
acknowledging it. We can look throughout the gospel and see how important repentance is (Mathew 9:18, Mathew 3:2, Mathew 4:17,
Mark 2:17, Luke 11:32. Luke 13:5.Luke 24:47, ect.). The apostle as well preached on repentance (Acts 2:38, Acts 3:19, Acts
8:22, 2Corinthians 12:21, Hebrews 6:1). So I ask you this now. Is salvation so easy a cave man can do it?

Can a child who has yet to come into a basic understandings simply say the prayer
and become saved? The answer is going to be no almost all of the time. If salvation was that easy, or solely dependent upon
belief, then Jesus would have had to never say the words he spoke in Matthew 7:13-23, or why would he continue to give parable
after parable to the people he preached to in Mathew 13 about true and false converts? Jesus told us that the way is narrow
and the gate is small and not many will find it, then later in the same gospel he preaches over and over again about how the
church will consist of true and false converts. These are Jesus' own words, how can we dismiss them. No, we can't
just simply dismiss them, we must look at the whole bible and apply all aspects to our life. Salvation by definition is the
forgiveness of sins, by faith and trust in the completed works of Jesus Christ upon the cross. Salvation demonstrates the
grace and love of God for his creation in that, while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Through this sacrifice we become
justified and sanctified to God. Yes salvation is by the very grace of God, totally unattainable by works, cannot earn it,
and cannot fall into it. Salvation can only be obtained through repentance and faith in the one who bore Gods wrath upon him
self. The one who became the propitiation for our sins, and that was Jesus Christ. Yes, the so-called church of this day and
age has taught us well of the grace and love of God, but only addresses repentance with the slightest of hands. That is why
there is so much debauchery, fornication, greed, and all other un-thinkable acts against God, running rampant through this
so-called church. Man has forgotten that God has said be ye holy, for I am holy (1peter 1:16). In 1 John 2:15-16, John the
apostle say that who ever loves the world does not have the love of the father in him. If I was engrossed in the so-called
modern Church I would be very worried about that statement, since the so-called church of America looks more like the world
than it does the bride of Christ it is suppose to be. The very reason for this is that pastors no longer preach on sin and
repentance.

Why would we remove from the pulpit sin when
it is dependent upon salvation? the answer is because man has no conviction over his desire, his action, his wickedness, man
longs to be of the world and longs to have all things of the world, and if anyone tells him he is wrong he will be offended,
and most pastors are to afraid of preaching on how tremendously sinful mans lusts truly are, because they would lose their
congregation.
